The place you go only on your first Havana day - crowded, and expensive mojito (5cuc) but not the best one.

It's ok, it's just the fame because this is looking more like a tourist trap. Mojitos are 5 cuc so they are expensive compared to other good places. The bar has nothing special in itself so take one mojito and go to another bar.

We had a few pre-dinner mojitos sitting at the bar of the Bodeguita and wildly enjoyed it. Despite being a huge tourist attraction, the old bar has somehow retained a certain charm and still speaks of idealized bygone times: the taciturnly skilled barmen, the old photos and quotes on the wall, the perfectly mixed mojitos... And an exceptionally good salsa... More

It's not that the food or drink are extraordinary; it's the unique atmosphere. This was Hemingway's second-favorite bar. It tends to be very crowded, so go early if you can. Maybe you just want a mojito in the bar, but be sure to check out the restaurant area behind the bar --the Mediterranean-blue walls are covered with the signatures of... More

This is the place to go to get an authentic Cuban experience. The birth place of the mojito, this little bar has such great character to it. What I enjoyed most about it is the live music there. Ofcourse many other places have groups playing but I specifically enjoyed the group that played here. Come a on Saturday afternoon around... More

You will have heard the stories that it is the birthplace of the mojito so for that reason it is worth a look. It's a really cool place. There is live music and it's decorated in a funky way. It is always buzzing with activity and the vibe spills out onto the street. Book ahead for the restaurant. It is... More

Make a reservation if you wish to dine, other than that the bar area from the street is tiny & jam packed spilling out onto the street. Full of history & character & worth a visit

An old Hemingway haunt, we were seated upstairs in a private room with a great band, TradiSon to entertain us. The food was very good, typical Cuban style of rice, beans with mole served family style. I would go again...

Well cooked tasty traditional Cuban food don't expect frills and fancy table cloths but the food is hot, fresh and tastes good. The finale is the provision of felt tip pens to plant your graffiti wherever you like n the walls table floor etc Cheap for westerners but not for locals
