This is a fabulous market, displaying and selling all kinds of Cuban made crafts from local artisans. Allow more time then you think you will need because there is a lot to see. Cuban art is all the rage and this is a great place to check it out. The entire outside perimeter is devoted to art and it is... More

Very large flea market - 1 mile walk from old Havana. Paintings, clothing, wood carvings, currency exchange... Open seven days a week - the best prices are after 4:00pm - negotiate all purchases. Safe and fun!

There are about 10 different shops, and 20 versions of those 10 shops so you can negotiate quite a bit. I bought some individual cigar holders here and then parted out a case of cigars I bought as gifts. They have t shirts, paintings, art work and other crafts. Prices where able to be negotiated down to about half of... More

Aisle after aisle of flea market style local and imported souvenirs. Everything from clothes, leather bags, wooded taxi's to absolutely beautiful artwork. I believe the key is that they position super models at all of the units to attract you to buy because you will see the same items for sale over and over again. It was fun to chat... More

We only had a half hour here at the end of our Havana tour so it was a bit rushed. I would have liked to spend more time to explore since this place is huge. Mainly typical shlock but there were artists there too, selling their original art. We were approached by girls in each aisle to have our hair... More

It was overwhelming for me as I wanted everything I saw it could take you all day to go through this massive space on the water I broke from the group as I was looking at all the wonderful art and i think it is good to designate an area or bench to return to if you are in a... More

Craft markets are usually fun. Here you'll be approached more aggressively than usual, but there is a wide selection of craft items, typical souvenirs, cigars and a large range of art in the back. I didn't see any but I heard you can buy rum there. We bought magnets (typically 2 for 1CUC), hotplates, clever salad forks, a drawing, etc.... More

This was the only place we visited with free enterprise for the local residents. They rent a small booth from the government to sell their products. It is a large remodeled warehouse with many booths, many repetitive items. The art work is beautiful but we didn't purchase any. We were told you need a certificate when you purchase it and... More

Stayed mostly at the brewery with the guys while the girls went shopping next door. Sampled several hand craft beers from Cuba. Huge brewery with great views of the ocean. Spacious. The flea market was like about any you've been to. Go hang out for a couple of hours and have fun.

In this HUGE waterfront warehouse you'll find coconut milk in the coconut, guayabera shirts, bags, souvenirs, cuba hats, and art art art of all kinds. We bought a couple of great pieces here.
