We took a bike tour with Velo Cuba through the Miramar and Vedado neighborhoods, the best part of which was going through the forest that bridges the two sections of the City. Wear helmets! Drivers tend to speed along the winding roads entering and exiting...More

The place is great, with lovely old buildings, a forest and lots of vegetation. It is a rich suburb, a little bit different of the old town of Havana.

Definitely where the more "afluent' people live! Beautiful architecture, the colors and the trees and foliage, amazing. Palm lined streets. 1950's cars ride along honking their horns and no one cares! Yes!

We had a wonderful time touring and seeing MIRIMAR. There is local shopping plazas, cigar stores, restaurants galore. Safe area with many friendly locals.

Easy to walk around with gorgeous homes near the sea. Absolutely beautiful area, quiet, magestic, with the stunning blue of the sea nearby. Take a convertible ride and slowly savor this barrio.
