As others have mentioned. Its not a museum but a simple cafe where you can get some good hot or cold chocolate drinks. Its fairly basic and small and there is quite often a line to enter. The drinks were good.

It's state run, unfortunately. Not much of a museum but more of just a chocolate shop with some history. However, the chocolate IS really good. We went back a few times.

Looks amazing but in three occasions it was either too close to closing to get in or it was lined up. Given the part of town it's located in, I can understand our lack of success getting to experience it. My recommendation is to try...More

Yummy chocolates in the heart of Havana! The to-go line was the way to go for our group, as we wandered the streets eating our chocolate treats. Worth a stop if in Havana!

Knowing this is State-owned, i didn't expect much but tried it anyway (l love chocolate). It's a cafe/chocolate shop with some historical items on display. Service is poor and they run out of supplies quick. I had an Aztec style hot chocolate. it was okay.

Stopped here .... chocolates were not exactly cheap! About 1 euro each! There are plenty of choices and unfortunately, you pay by the weight!

Empty shelves and bad chocolate. I am not sure why it is called a museum because there is nothing to see.

You get used to waitresses ingnoring you or keeping you waiting for a while in Cuba. This is no different, in fact, probably worse than most. The smiles come when the bill is due,. This may have something to do with the possibility of a...More

No, it is not a museum. Just a few posters around the walls and some chocolate being mixed and then put into moulds. All the drinks are chocolate based and I thought good, made a change from alcohol and coffee.
