If you are one for the cruise ships sailing in the Caribbean, you can hope to spend time docked in Curacao. It is the largest of the Dutch Antilles islands and from our visit, it is also the nicest, most picturesque, cleanest and chocked full of places to visit for a short port of call stay. The Capital is Willemstad... More

We left the ship and walked by the water on a nice brick path to a little village I fell in love with. It was Thanksgiving Day, beautiful, and the weather was perfect. Just in Riffort Village there is shopping, food, a old fort, and other features. Just hanging out there was a blast but we ventures on into town.... More

We have visited Curacao several times and always ensure that we visit Rif Fort which is a restaurant/ bar/ shopping complex just on the edge of Willemstad.

We stayed at the hotel next door, so we were lucky enough to end up here each night. Great food options, awesome live music. Perfect place to relax, unwind and let your hair down. oh, and the vodka drinks were NOT watered down. Worth a visit.

Great views. We walked through early in the morning when the cruise ship docked so none of the businesses were open but on top there are some great views.

The shops, clubs, shopping in this historic area of Curacao is simply amazing! Be sure to have some ice cream at the shop just inside the Fort too because it is "hopi" delicious! And climb the stairs of the old fort to watch the large ships coming and going through the shipping channel too.

Enjoyed the shops. Be sure to climb the steps for great views of Willemstad. Bonus was the nice clean free bathrooms.

Neet little place to grab a drink and hang out away from it all. Quite a bit of shops and a few restaurants. Clean area.

Many options for good food. About 10 different restaurants share a central plaza, each offering a different cuisines. We tried the sushi place first and loved it, and went again another night for burgers since they looked and smelled delicious. The place comes alive on Sat nights with live music and a fun ambiance. There is a "Cheesery" that looks... More
