If you are a cruise ship arrival, this neighbourhood is a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal. You will cross the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge to get there. From souvenir shops to high end store to bars and coffee shops the walk though this town has you feeling like you are in the Netherlands itself.

Punda is a well known neighborhood in Willemstad, Curazao. You can find shops to buy some things. Converse, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria Secret, Crocs, Boolchands and Freeport Jewelers are some of them. You can find also Penha Duty Free and some locals shops to buy some gifts. Some littles coffees, bars and local restaurants. The only problem is the shops are... More

20 years as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Punda and old town Willemstad can't be missed on a trip to Curacao. Doesn't take much more than an hour to walk the town, shopping can add time as well as a trip to the oldest Synagogue in the Americas. Several different alleys to get lost in, buy a drink, and stroll... More

Nice little town with picturesque Dutch architecture and painting. All is tourist-focused - restaurants, a million souvenir shops, etc. Would be interesting to get a better taste of life on Curaçao, but Punda is a nice place to pick up gifts.

Walk through fast, unless you really want to buy something just keep moving. Don't fall into the trap of stopping to look and feeling like you have to buy something. But cool place to see.

This is where you'll find the beautiful colourful buildings seen in all the pictures of Curacao. Several rows of streets for shopping, banking , restaurants. The Curaçao government buildings are located in this area as well.

We spend a morning walking around Willemstad, but didn't find it very interesting. There are few nice shops and the view of the harbour and the Emma bridge is nice. Go for lunch at the Plaza Bieu to try some tasty local food.

Punda it a city that is very colorfull city all the buildings have different colors. Which makes it unique. Now with the punda vibes on every thursday evening all the restaurants and bars have live entertainment and there is a little firework show sharp at 8.15pm. Most of the shops close at 8pm during that punda vibe night.
