We were looking forward to the drive around the Green Route at the park since we did this the last time we were on Curacao, seventeen years ago. Back then, the route was much steeper! We had one hill where we could not make it...More

The $15 entrance fee includes entrance to the Savonet Museum (colonial plantation) and both the blue and green car loops, as well as many hiking trails. The shorter blue route features inlets and terrain along the island's north coast, while the longer green route features...More

My wife and I had spent most of our time in the beautiful Curacao water, so one day we decided to drive up to Mt Christoffel National Park. The headquarters are located in a tiny gift shop, and you are not provided with much guidance...More

We hiked this mountain one day. It was beautiful. We started the hike around 9 am since you cannot start after 11 am as it gets too hot. I had just gotten over bronchitis and finished the antibiotics a day before we did this hike....More

Went around the entire national park (the mountain and the coastal park). It is the best excursion one can do in Curaçao! The tour guide is very knowledgeable and his stories and explanations make the tour very interesting.

The hike to the top of Mount Christoffel was definitely worth it, in terms of effort, time and cost. It was strenuous at the end and more like rock climbing rather than hiking. Get an early start and try to go on an overcast day...More

We rented a car and did the hike ourselves. It was great. No need to join a group, you will meet people as you hike.
