Did this on an excursion from the cruise port. Sights of Dominica. Really pretty twin waterfalls. There is a viewing platform after the walk from the entrance which was $5 to get in when we were there. Short walk up to the viewing platform on gravelled steps. Trainers recommended. When you get up to the covered viewing platform despite seeing... More

You better have a 4wheel drive to get to the start of the hike. Have some cash on hand as there are vendors on site with the most beautiful souvenirs and locally made jewelry. If I remember correctly there is also an onsite bar/restaurant. It is a 30mins walk/hike to reach the view point. It is wet and cool. Sneakers... More

The falls are a little bit of a hike up to see two side-by-side falls that drop into beautiful jungle pools where all sorts of plant and animal species live. Good place for a bathroom break on your tour and there are even vendors and a nice restaurant and bar.

These two waterfalls, known locally as 'mother and father', cascade down through lush green rainforest. They are relatively easy to reach with a ten minute walk along rocky paths. There is some ascent and descent and it can be rough underfoot, but should be within the capabilities of most people who are able to walk, if taken at a slow... More

I went to this place thinking it was one waterfall only to realise there are two! The "mama" falls and the "papa" falls. Trail is well mapped out with stairs so easily accessible for anyone. A must see sight in the beautiful nature island of Dominica :-)

These falls are truly spectacular! The granduer really can not be appreciated unless you see it for yourself! To see the two waterfalls cascading off of the plateau above is truly breathtaking! An easy 10 minute walk from the parking lot.

Two beautiful falls can be seen from this one location. To access the lookout platform you will need to walk up a few steps, probably about 50, and back to exit the falls. Once you reach the lookout platform, you can continue on and explore the waterfalls up close and personal. There are warning signs to caution you that it... More

This was a stop on a tour of the island. The climb is steep in some places but the view of the falls is worth the effort. There is a viewing platform that allows you to see the falls and to take photos of the falls. Some people were able to climb on down to the rocks and pools below... More

Beautiful waterfalls and very easy to get to. Well worth having a swim in one of the pools and taking in the scenery. If you plan to visit many of the natural wonders a weekly pass is well worth it - currently costs $12US PER PERSON.

It's a brief and easy walk to the viewing platform. Just about anyone should be able to make it. If you go past the viewing platform and down to the water it is slightly more challenging. Scrambling over the rocks in the stream bed is best left to the young (and is not recommended due to the potential for flash... More
