The Malecon was where we would end our days during our visit to Santo Domingo. We had a family of 5 with kids from the teens to 6 years old. This is a great people watching spot and a chance to soak up the culture...More

It’s a long walk and it really depends which part of this you’re on. We walked down from Calle Hostos in Zona Colonial area and it takes a while just to cross the main road as there’s no priority crossing for pedestrians, the traffic comes...More

Don’t even bother. It’s noisy, dirty, litter everywhere: the ocean, the trees at the shore, the docks, the sidewalks, uff. There is absolutely nothing to see. Abandon buildings, some hotels and casinos that are not worthy and the traffic is insane, so if you decide...More

Not going to The Malecón in Cuba is like going to Disney and not seeing Mickey Mouse. This a historical place. Very relaxing and with a beautiful sight. Bring water for hydration and sunscreen to enjoy a long and safe walk.

Hay una pequeña playa llamada Guibia pero no está limpia ni bien cuidada. Tiene una hermosa vista, pero no se recomienda nadar allí. Yo creo que está cerrado.
