Like most squares it the main meeting point for the area. Fun to people watch and is in just about the center of The Colonial Zone. Plenty of food choices. I don't remember the name but the corner restaurant is the best by far. Just look for all the people.

Beautiful little park in the Colonial Zone with many benches and shady areas. A nice area to enjoy a coffee or treat while watching the tourists and locals go by. The park is surrounded by shops, restaurants and the Basilica Cathedral. Several locals were playing dominoes during my visit and that was fun to watch. There are hundreds of pigeons... More

Nice town square. Lot's a little shops around. Get a coffee or an ice cream and enjoy the local life. Lots of pigeons here, though.

Its a great place for history, you see the buildings and the structures statues. The whole zone gives you the intrigue to learn more about the culture. To find out and know what happened here once. Its great.

We sat in this Park a couple of times just taking in the atmosphere. Beautiful, near the church, great open place to relax with a coffee or ice cream or something.

This park is located on the east end of the El Conde street. It is relatively clean and safe. Although it is very busy, it is a great place to sit down and relax.

This is a famous park next to the cathedral of Santo Domigo, and is the middle of colonial zone. This place is surrounding by giftshops and coffee shops, and during the weekend you can see a lot locals just talking or little kids feeding the dove. Also, is very common to see local live music from time to time.
