    Beautiful beach
This beach is stunning. The water is turquoise blue. The temp is perfect. It’s absolutely beautiful! The entrance of the beach is full of people selling things but if your not interested they back off. You gotta visit this beach.

    Nice beach, Clear water
Great beach, nice waves and seaweed free, but full of locals trying yo sell you stuff. No food options, make sure you pack some. Doesn't look very safe but nice overall

    Vacation at Dreams
My mother and I visited Dreams Macao Beach for her 60th birthday trip. The room was spacious, clean, and I we had a beautiful beach/pool view. Our favorite restaurant was Oceana. Very fresh tuna and amazing service from the wait staff. The staff made sure to make her feel special on her birthday and even brought out a cake to sing happy birthday. The entertainment staff, in particular Michael Jordan was very energetic and fun and made sure we had a fun time.

popular surfing spot and was listed by UNESCO
Macao Beach is something of a hidden gem of Punta Cana beaches, being relatively untouched with clean sands, watersports opportunities, and an escape from the city crowds. It’s a popular surfing spot and was listed by UNESCO as one of the Caribbean’s best beaches, mostly down to the clear waters and lovely white sand fringed by tall palm trees. waves are not as smooth as the main beaches of Bavaro, but it’s for those who desire a day at the beach free of crowds. also, sands particles- It’s huge, and not as fine as Bavaro's beaches. It's also highly popular with surfers due to the great pipes that form here. It's a favorite among locals, and a nearby all-inclusive resort lets you be pampered between beach excursions. It is much quieter than Playa Bavaro, and it is worth visiting, especially if you want to try awesome freshly caught fish at affordable prices Entrance: Google search for Restaurant El Fogón de Doña Mery, that’s your entrance. Parking: some guy will stop you at the entrance, and he will guide you. Parking Fee: As per guard wish ;) try 50 or 100 Pesos.

We visited here as part of a tour and can honestly say it was a terrible experience. Vendors are bombarding you and trying to put their goods on your wrists or their animals on your shoulders to force you to pay them. I mistakenly ordered a drink without checking the price, one mojito (which my wife threw away as it was awful) and one Corona was $23.
I would steer clear of this place, it’s somewhere to regret going.

Watch out for the Coffee/Cigar vendor. They use wifi card readers, the first reader apparently doesn't get wifi so they come out with a second card reader and input the amount "that is double" and hand it to you when you for in the pin. Being trusting you take the receipt and put it in your pocket. Hrs later you find out you were double charged. The next day I returned to dispute the charge and they agreed. To resolve the dispute they said they would refund the difference via western union which never arrives?

Good enough for surfing only. Place is hyped up. It's not recommended for swimming. The local vendors won't stop at anything from selling their stuff to you, they don't take no for an answer.

This place was the worst. From the moment we got out of our taxi locals were hassling us to buy their goods. No public bathrooms or access to water. They charge you 25 pesos per person to use the restroom. Food was mediocre at best. The local vendors are relentless about everything from chairs, to crappy trinkets. I would not go back except maybe to surf but even that looked sketchy!

Visited this dump whilst out on a buggy tour. Most disgusting beach I’ve ever been to. Had 30mins here and it was too long, locals trying to force you to buy overpriced food and drink every couple of minutes. Got back to the buggy and locals weee trying to squirt dirty water on your feet and legs for a $1

We went for the day with another couple expecting there will be a better culinary experience ; there are some bars and restaurants in the beach and before order something either to drink or eat ask for the price
Particularly nothing else than rough waves and golden sand
