We came to the beach as part of our buggy trip, beautiful sea but waves very strong while we were there. Sellers at the beach very persistent.

The beach and waves are beautiful, and surfers love going here to learn or practice. However, I would not recommend this for families with small children, as the waves and currents can be intense and dangerous.

Macao beach is probably the best beach I've ever been. As it is a public beach it is still in a more virgin state. I got there in a buggy excursion and unfortunately we only stayed for 20 minutes.

What a stunning untouched beach ... there is a bit of sea weed on the sand but a perfect place to body board and picture perfect .

Came along with Adventure Boogies. Only stopped off for 15minutes and felt harassed for all that time! Even a firm but pleasant no thank you didn't work. Such a shame!

You can reserve the buggies ride at all resorts lobby area , not sure about taxi cost but is not far from bávaro palace

We rented a car. The highway is absolutely perfect. There are a couple of toll booths each way of 100 pesos each. We used the phone's gps and took us there easy. Once you get to the beach, better park at the Macao Surf... More
