May 2021
We wanted to leave our resort for a day and glad we did ! The beauty of the hidden caves and the chance to jump in them was exhilrating ! Let alone the zip lines throughout the facility and then the big drop off by Yaya's cave wa fun ! If your looking for an adventure day this is it!

Super cool swimming cave
Mar 2020
We hired Luigi Travel, whom I'd highly recommend! He's awesome. He took us to Hoyo Azul and down the steps into the cave. There were people on a tour all crowded together. When they left, it was just us and the local kids. There are some big rocks out in the water, so I was a little hesitant to dive into the cave. It took me a while to work up my nerve. But, once I did, it was awesome! So refreshing! Not something you get to do every day. The kids liked Luigi so much we had him take us to the airport as well when we left. He texted us that evening to find out if we'd gotten back home to the states safely. We (unbeknownst to us) got the last flight out before they shut the country down due to Covid.

Beautiful cave swimming or
jumping into the water from a platform. Someone there to help if needed. Go check it out if you visit Punta cana.

Interesting place to see. There are bee hives above - amazing! But don't worry, bees aren't a problem there. You can safely jump into blue, cold water.

Nice, nice tour guide!!

Wonderful, relaxing experience!! Very unique. It was sad that they usually have over 250 workers and only 11 were there, due to covid but we ended up with a very "private" tour with no lines.

Smaller, not intimate
Feb 2020
This pool is beautiful and takes some guts to jump in, it is a little chilly. But my real grip is that is smaller than it looks in the photo and extremely busy so it is not relaxing and intimate as I was expecting.

Expedition
Jan 2020
This place was super cool. So, first, Hoyo Azul stands for Blue Hole. And that's not far from the truth. This place is super cool. The water is about as clear as I've ever seen. The depth is very deceiving you would think its very shallow, but the depth is about 45ft and you can still see the bottom. I would highly recommend this as an expedition.
