Great day at the water park. The kiddos and my husband really enjoyed the slides even though they were rough we went back a second time. Buffet was pretty good there as well.

Really disappointed, food was terrible and cold, not a lot of choice we struggled to find a suitable meal most nights so resorted to salad and chicken. A lot of the food isn’t labelled so you have to keep asking what it is. flys all over the food so that is really off putting anyway. people picking up bread rolls and placing them back in the basket before selecting the ones they wanted. Room was full of mould in the bathroom and had a damp smell throughout the room, a foul smell from the drains in the shower, stains on the bedding, curtains and dirt imbedded into the headboards, the bed base was really dirty with dust, hair and dirt. On Christmas Eve which is when Christmas is celebrated in DR, the biggest night of the year we was left with no power for 9hrs from 3pm-12am, we reported it 3 times during this time and was told it was been dealt with. At 11pm we went to the reception again and was told no one had reported the issue after another hour someone came out and fixed the fuse box. I reported to Tui through the App as the Tui rep had gone home early, after 2 days I was told that the hotel was going to compensate me for the inconvenience caused, I came back to the room that evening to a chocolate dessert in a tea cup!! Tui asked if I had been compensated I told them what I had received, Tui again contacted the hotel to which they were told I would be offered a private cabana at the beach and spa treatments, this never happened. I was offered to move rooms on our last day! Really poor customer service. Stay away from the “VIP BREAKFAST” experience it’s just a con to get you to buy there membership, our concierge booked us in after convincing us it was only 90mins long and we got a short presentation about the members club with no obligation to buy, we was at breakfast from 8am and we left at 11am after been hounded into getting us to buy a membership when we refused the sales reps were very rude they then said they would get someone to sign us out, we they arrived they then began to try and sell us a different package we explained this was our second day and we couldn’t possibly make a decision based of that, again he was rude and pressured us to make a decision by tomorrow, at this point we just walked out. People are out putting towels down from 5am maybe this was because it was a busy period but it was ridiculous! If you left your lounger for to long when you returned someone would be dat on your bed or if you had a table people would leave there empty cups and plates on it, never been anywhere like it and we have been to many places! We spent 4 of the seven days out of the complex on excursions which were fantastic and we had a lovely time seeing the beautiful beaches and landscapes, we went to sonora Island and monkey land, we also paid for a day pass to Nickelodeon hotel which was lovely and the food was great 👍🏼 wish we had paid to go to this resort instead. Such a shame as the resort it’s self is really nice and the beach is lovely but that’s about it. We paid a lot of money to come here and the price was much higher as it was Christmas We wouldn’t return to this hotel if they was paying us!

Our time here was amazing. The staff we dealt with were fantastic and very friendly. Our maid Gardenia was very helpful when our keycard didn’t work, she kept our room nice and always had a beautiful display in the bedroom. She greet us everyday with a happy hola and a smile. She went above and beyond, getting us our favourite teas and coffee for our room. The staff at the members club were very friendly.Edison always greeted us and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, as did Christina, Dolores, Gendris and the other 2 girls that I unfortunately couldn’t get the names of.
Our concierge, Wilson, kept in contact everyday while we were there and made sure everything we requested for the room was there. We had an issue with an excursion and he had it fixed above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are lovely.

Hotel is amazing… customer service is not. Great rooms, great pools, nice food but forget about attentions, employees don’t pay attention to your needs

We visited the park as day visitors as the aqua park on ibiza had closed and this was recommend to us as an option for teenagers to keep them entertained.
It was great for the afternoon…5 larger slides they could enjoy and plenty of space to relax. It wouldn’t have occupied for a whole day but for the 4 hour ticket, was fine. Lovely park and very clean.
It’s a shame however that from 5.15 (we paid for 2pm-6pm) that staff became quite unwelcoming…pushing for us to pack up and leave by whistling and tapping their wrists to usher us out the gate. 2 security guards approached my son at 5.30 to cut off the bands we were given and also our own hotel wrist band because ‘it looked too much like one of their hotel wrist bands’!
The hotel is in a very quiet location. We asked for help ordering a taxi. They suggested that as residents of the hotel they could not do this but agreed after some persuading to help.
We spoke to at least 3 families who were left feeling stranded outside of the hotel for nearly 2 hours waiting for taxis to take us back to our resorts. When attempting to return into the hotel to ask for help leaving the area (buses/taxi number etc) we were dismissed and security staff just tapped their wrist suggesting ‘no wrist band, no help!) I appreciate this isn’t the waterparks issue however after paying over 100 euros for 4 hours - a little curtesy and assistance wouldn’t have gone a miss.
If you are going, carefully plan your journey beforehand and remember your place as a day customer!

We wanted to do something different from the beach and found their website online with their water park entrance fees. However when we got there, the staff wanted to charge $52 per person even though their website stated 33€. They tried to excuse their higher fee, claiming that the 35€ was the same as $52 US dollars. The difference is currently only .07 cents per dollar. Ridiculous.

A good water park for children and adults, but for me there was not enough shade to hide from the sun. And where there was a shadow there were a lot of mosquitoes.

We chose this hotel as we had stayed in the Grand Sirinis in Mexico and it was awesome. We also had a toddler with us and this hotel had good facilities for all age groups.
Firstly my son and partner had to wait 4 hours on arrival at 5pm to get a cot put in their room for their toddler which is not accepted a very long day travelling, especially when it had been requested in advance. We then had to change rooms as despite emailing in advance and making TUI aware that my husband had mobility issues they had not put us in a room for disabilities.
Throughout our 2 week stay the service was extremely poor, waiting a long time to get served at the bar, or waiting for drinks in the buffet restaurant or around the pool.
Although there was a lot of choice in the restaurant the food was often not cooked properly and cold. We booked the a la carte restaurants on several occasions to try for better food. Sadly this was worse, we waited for over an hour at most of them before getting served and even walked out of 1 as we had still not been given our food 1 hour and 15 minutes after being seated and the baby was really hungry. The only restaurants worth visiting was the Japanese and Brazilian.
We found the staff often rude and unfriendly and the entertainment below par for this kind of hotel.
Luckily we had sunshine and each other so made the most of having quality time together. I would not however recommend this hotel to anyone and it is definitely not a 4/5 *.

Just returned from Grand Sirenis Punta Cana- and I am terribly disappointed. I read all the bad and good reviews before going and thought to myself- it can't be that bad, I am sure some people are exaggerating and things looks really nice on the pictures. WRONG, I made a big mistake. The bad reviews were ALL spot on and TRUE. Save yourself the misery and chose another place. If you read other comments- The Grand Sirenins in Punta Cana has an outbreak of Norovirus. That is a fact. All staff knows it and confirms it. We went on a family vacation- 6 people in total. 3 of us got Norovirus. Everyone we've met and spoke with had the same problem- ill with Norovirus. While we were there 9 people were in the hospital with this bug. It is a serious problem they are facing and this has been going on for the past few months. My parents and my older daughter also got ill with this bug. Let me tell you- it was a miserable experience. Vomiting and diarrhea. I can tell you how they got it- it's the lack of sanitary measures and common standards of washing properly. I have witnessed countless times the staff taking a cup after another person, rinsing it under running water and then pouring a drink for the next person!!! It seems that in the Grand Sirenins they don't use or have dishwashers, so things do not get cleaned properly and germs spread very easily. I have also witnessed how one staff member was cleaning the container where pina colada was stored ( ready mix like in a slushy). Let me tell you- he had a dirty pink cloth, he stuck in the container, wiped it a few times, rinsed and pour a new batch of pina colada. Enjoy!!! I was absolutely shocked, stunned and disguised.
***Food- worst selection and quality of food I have ever seen in a resort- slim picking is an understatement. Breakfast- everyone just lines up for an omelet or freshly cooked eggs, because everyone already knows not to eat anything else that is not cooked right in front of you, or you are risking getting ill. Pancakes and waffles tasted like old cloth, we were saved by the buns and jam...honestly- lunch and dinner were just terrible. I am not a picky eater, I love trying food, but theirs was either bland, cold or un-fresh. The cold cuts section - STAY AWAY_ it was moved from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Gross. For dinners there was a massive line up for pasta- no one wanted to risk eating anything else. Prepare for waiting for 30 min each time at least.
***Staff- slow, couldn't care less attitude. The waitress were calling my parents "mama and papa" each time they've entered the restaurant - which was incredibly unprofessional. One of the staff placed her wig on my dad's head, which was just so insulting. Zero manners and tact! We had to wait for staff to come and offer us water and coffee, on some occasions we had to get up and actively look for someone to help us as there was no way to get the water or coffee for yourself. I do not have anything nice to say about staff. On another occasion, my father asked at the main lobby for change from 20$ to singles, so he could give tips- but the guy who was working at that time told my dad here is 19$- one for me! It was not a question, it was a statement. This is not about 1$ but about the treatment and rudeness. Lastly, my daughter vomited near the restaurant, so the manager came by to help. My husband was obviously upset with the situation and ask him- this is not the first time you see a kid get sick- and he laughed saying oh no sir, it's Norovirus, it happens every day! I couldn't believe he found that funny and had a grin on his face. Then, he tried to deny it and even try to intimidate my husband by sending him text messages saying it is illegal to post negative comments about their resort and is considered a crime. That was just it for us. Absurd.
***Beach- the only good thing that place has to offer. It is very nice, shallow, sandy, everything you can wish for in a beach.
Overall- I would not recommend. I was so glad to go home like never before in my life. I was relieved to leave.

Incredible masseuse at the spa! Probably the best massage I've ever had.

This resort has everything a family with children could want. The Aquagames Park is outstanding, and hard to believe it is in included. The Kids Club staff are so friendly and accommodating, even staying late at night so adults can go to adult events. My kids will be asking to return!

We are members, and have never had an ounce of regret for that investment. The level of service only increases!
