The road is signposted just past the big petrol on the Samana-Galeras road. It veers off to the right and is basically a badly maintained lane. My quad ran out of fuel a couple of miles before the turn. So independent renters beware, they rent out on empty and this is where my experience with robbers starts because I stopped... More

Our motoconcho driver brought us to this place and we had so much fun here. You never really know when its happening. If you get a little closer you shirt will blow up. We had a lot of fun here and enjoyed out time at this place

Such a shame to have to report negatively on a place that is such a beautiful drive and awesome location. Between the drive alongside the cliffs, the marble mine, caves and the boca del diablo it really is an amazing place. That being said, and I hate to put a stain on the local economy and many good people that... More

My boyfriend and I travelled by scooter to see Boca del Diablo in December 2015. We made our way back after seeing the site and buying some souvenirs from the lady, close to half way we were stopped by two machete bearing men wearing t-shirts over their heads to hide. They robbed us of many of our belongings and money.... More

We drove out as far as we thought we could and then hiked the rest of the way (we also saw a couple being guided and on an atv). It was a beautiful drive/hike and so cool! There was a couple that had a little souvenir stand and walked down with us and told us a bit about it (in... More

There was a slight breeze the day we visited with Victor & his Outback Safari, thus we witnessed a lot of action. It was an interesting part of our tour & worth a visit. I must say that the scenery here was fantastic ! ( but an experience to use the "rest room " ~~LOL ! )

I{ ve been many years ago..But recently I´ve heard few stories of robberies around Boca del Diablo...Cause, it´s a path, the youbg guys, check you people go throgh..by car..or quad.. So, they know, you need to pass for this same path to go back to the highway..they put a tree in the middle, to force you to stop..and ask for... More

The thought at first was it wouldn't be too exciting but the noise of the water really makes it quite a thing to see. The area is ice with trees and you are right along the side of the road. Only 80 feet to walk maximum. Be careful of the limestone as it is very sharp and you need to... More

The dirt road passing a stone quarry, did not seem like it was going to lead to such an amazing natural wonder. It was truly memorable and not to be missed. Kids and adults will love it! We were the only visitors there. It has a unique experience feel to it because it has not been built up for tourism.

I have to admit that when I heard of Boca del diablo I wasn't that excited. I've seen cool rock formations where the water shoots up when the waves come in, ok. This site was en route to Playa Fronton so it was no big commitment. We went on motoconcho from our hotel (Chalet Tropical) with their resident guide. I'd... More
