Rancho Tipico Samana Horseback Riding Adventure takes you...

Rancho Tipico Samana Horseback Riding Adventure takes you through the countryside, through villages, across streams, and onto the beach. You enjoy the most beautiful and rewarding horseback ride in the country. Once you arrive at the beach you can ride more, explore, and then enjoy a wonderful Dominican Style Buffet that includes fresh caught fish, chicken, fresh fruits and vegetables and more. Along the ride you will encounter daily life, children running along side to greet you, quiet moments and opportunities (if you like) to run and frolic with your horse through the shallow river and beautiful flora. You will have opportunities to pick fresh fruit, stop at a casa tipica where you will be shown how they make coffee, chocolate and ask questions about the local fruits and flowers. After your lunch and some beach time, we take a short, lovely hike to the Lulu Falls, where you can swim in the cool clean waters or just enjoy the picturesque views. Other things can be included in your ride if you choose, you can plan to zip line above the falls, or just spend more time at the beach, or more riding. It's a full day of adventure! (Half days can also be arranged.) This is an opportunity to see Samana, Dominican Republic as it really is! Enjoy the best of Samana with Rancho Tipico on Horseback!

Riding across the Peninsula, across streams, thru little villages and the best part for me, riding on a beautiful secluded beach. It was fantastic, Laura and Domingo the owners are fantastic, funny and really know the territory. Domingo is Dominican and has a horse ranch and Laura is from the U.S. and has horses, the two of them make the... More

Rancho Tipico appears like many other bars that can be spotted throughout the Caribbean. The ambiance is very functional and tourists looking for glitzy decor or fancy cocktails should give Rancho Tipico a pass. But those, like my wife and I, who are interested in the fun of Latin dancing with the locals will have a blast. There was a... More
