During the trip to Playa Rincón in Samana Peninsula you will have a closer view, local houses, local people, Dominican style stores, local restaurants, motor drivers, the asean view, horses, attractions, the samana sea port and many other things. Then you arrive at an open beach that is 3-4 miles long, with white sands and palm trees stretching as far... More

It was surely one of the more beautiful and wild beaches of the North Coast of Dominican Republic. Unfortunately now there is automobile trafic behind the coco trees and thousands of plastic bottles on the ground. To visit an unspoiled and wonderful beach go to Playa Frontón, one of the most beautiful of the Caribbeans, taking a boat at Las... More

Miles of pristine sand encased in a forest of palms. It really is incredibly beautiful and stretches for five kilometers. The sea here seems to have taken instructions from the God of Tourism and is incredibly luminescent and sky blue, perfect for photographers. I came here on my own with a quad bike and the beach was empty so driving... More

Our three teens snorkeled and picked up interesting shells. We took wonderful family photos on this great beach. Just a great place to relax and enjoy the beach, with two restaurants nearby so you don't have to pack a lunch!

We were staying nearby at Villa Serena which has a small beach and my wife wanted to see what she had heard was one of the best beaches in the world. This beach is remote and I researched how best to get there. I discovered that we could take a motor bike ride as passengers for about $20 US, a... More

A typical beach from the movies. Long Beach full of coco trees, clear waters. The beach has some garbage in some areas, not where the restaurants are, but in other places. At the very left there is caño frío, a river that ends at the beach. This is really beautiful, not so cold, very clear water and fun to simw.... More

The beach is really nice and if you are lucky you find a place without a lot of tourists. You can reach the beach with a rental car or motoconcho. Its a bit bumby. The waves are really nice and steong, so is the currency and i would be really careful going in the water.
