We came on a cruise, and honestly Grenada was the one stop where I hadn't really researched the island on what we should do, so we ended up getting off the ship without a plan and that was mistake #1. All of the people in town are extremely pushy with the tourists. We were hounded by taxi drivers, peddlers, etc...... More

An average locals market with lots of local and tourist type things to see and buy. We found the stall holders friendly and chatty.Nice to wander and browse for around an hor or so.

Stopped off here after an island tour and the area just felt sketchy. I didn't feel in any particular danger, I dunno, I guess it's hard to describe. My spidey sense was tingling the whole time we were there and I was glad to get back into the port area. I will say that the vendors here were much nicer... More

On a cruise this was a port stop. Spent a couple hours in the morning walking around here. Great place to buy spices to take home, drink some fresh coconut water and just get a little local flavor. The people are all very friendly. Willing to barter some but can also take a simple " no" as well. Worth getting... More

This was on the list of sights to see in Grenada so when in St George's we went to see it. On a week day only around 30% of the stalls are open and they just sell second hand items, fruit or spices. There were no places to eat and in fairness it looked like a bit of a dump... More

We could not find any reason for anyone to go downtown. We found zero value of any of the shops downtown, the only thing we found downtown were tons of taxi cab and water taxi vendors. Also to go downtown you need to use the so called "Pedestrian" tunnel. This tunnel had vehicles speeding trough it with very little concern... More

Great place to go to find about anything. Lots of vendors with a wide variety of local items. Hand made items and many types of fruits and spices
