Great beach, very clean and safe.

Wonderful expanse of golden sand, walking possible in each direction. Plenty of space, and not too many beach sellers.

Almost 2 miles of clean white sand and safe warm waters, Grand Anse is the main Beach in Grenada. There are quieter spots, but you can't go to Grenada without spending time on this gem. Meeting people and enjoying a beautiful sunset. Shallow gradient into the sea, conditions are ideal for just splashing around or doing some serious open water... More

Great view of St George, white sand, blue clear water. Clean and safe. Good for walking, running, swimming, and lounging. Has some places that rent kayaks, SUP, hobiecat. Sometimes there is tubing behind a motorboat on offer.

There is a water taxi service available that brings people over from the cruise ships. However, if not coming back at the same time as most people, there is a bit of a wait for the return. Also, I had seen this in other reviews and found it to be accurate...they won't take US dollars that have any markings on... More

Next to the beach near St.Lawrence Gap in Barbados I enjoyed swimming here the most during our tour in the Windward Islands. We had not been looking for nice beaches here in the first place, and thus we often happened to be staying in beautiful areas, that were close to a coastline with rough seas, with big waves and strong... After doing a tour of Grenada with a taxi driver we got dropped at Grand Anne beach to enjoy a relaxing afternoon sunbathing. The beach is lovely, very peaceful with plenty of people renting out sun beds and umbrellas. There are a few small places to eat and get drinks from. Some offer wi fi although I was told by... More

A must see when visiting Grenada! Beach is long, water is clean, few tourists and very few mlocls coming up to you for money / selling things. Very safe.

This is the biggest beach on the island, but still nothing like the biggest beaches on many other Caribbean islands. Not full of big resorts that "own" their area of the beach, lots of shaded/treed areas where you can get chairs from locals for the usual EC$10 ($4 US equivalent). Usually we avoid the bigger beaches on the islands for... More

Stroll along this beautiful beach at different hours to see how the sun is reflected on the water. Amazing at both sunrise and sunset. You can find a scuba tour pretty easily. There are different restaurants on the beach, but service can be slow since the waitstaff is on "island time". The spice market features inexpensive souvenirs, but be prepared... More
