The kayak trip into the mangrove was a high point of our vacation in Guadeloupe. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. We experienced unspoiled nature at a leisurely pace. Highly recommended!

Went with friends who had been before. Organisers were expecting 4 people but somehow 16 turned up so things got a bit delayed whilst it was all sorted. We chose single canoes which we fine but as we hadn't done much kayaking took a while to get used to but then no problems. Some of it is a bit boring... More

This is a wonderful tour - the one we still remember as a highlight of the trip several months later! We had a large group - 7 adults and 3 kids - and everyone had a blast. The guides were fluent in English, very friendly, very knowledgeable and really fun. They showed kids star fish, sea cucumbers, lobsters, all while... More

The guided kayak tour is in my experience the best way to explore the magical mangrove forest. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, however the language barrier prevented him a bit to fully explain everything in English. We still had a very good time. I would advice novice kayakers to try this as it can be... More

Though we spoke little French, the guided tour was still a great time. The guides made great efforts to accommodate us with the language gap. They were extremely friendly and helpful in every regard. The tour does require the ability to kayak as it is a 3 hour sea trip, but the guides do give instruction and are with you... More

no motor noise, only own power! we met at the well organised "kaz a kajak" where our guide Vincent gave us good basic info and instructions about kajaking and handed out the equipment. during the trip through and around the mangroves, Vicent explained a lot about this eco system, the trees, the history, the importance, the animals (birds, crab, fish,... Excellent outing, a good way to escape busy Guadeloupe and see something completely different, perfect for kids as well, even better if you know French. Plants, weird animals, you will get to hold a sea cucumber that attacks you with a water jet... Beware that the kayaks are open so you will need a lot of sun cream or even... More
