Absolutely stunning beach, good also for snorkeling. Important historical place. Great views and very good coconut sorbet around :)

Loved this place and the wiew. The owner of the bar was sleeping during the hours we wire there. No service. No toiletts. Cafe two km Down the road. Bring water and sunoil.

Very scenic and historic , but better view from aerial perspective - try the gyro copters in St Francois !

Being English I am not used to the intense sun. You really need a parasol. Great bar at end of point. The lagoon is amazing and warm. Great snorkelling. Make sure you walk up to the cross, great view.

A lovely picturesque place to visit on Grand Terre. The southern tip. Beautiful views a nice trail to the cross of you are so inclined.

We went toward sunset and the colors were unbelievable. However, it meant a drive back in the dark (to Point a Pitre) which wasn't so fun. It would be much easier if you were only driving back to St Francois, or even Sainte... More

Guadeloupe has bus service to many points, however this particular place...Pointe des Chateaux is at the extreme end of the island and has no bus service. You can however buy a tour from a hotel which will include this... More
