This is a nice quick stop and walk with easy access, but the waterfall is only so-so. Kinda of small, and the crowds make it not so peaceful. People were wading but it did not look that inviting. Parking is not great, but you can wait till someone pulls out.

The cascade itself is great to see. It is well indicated from the mountain road and easy to reach. Parking spot is clear and there is also a little boutique where you can buy tourist rubbish. The "hike" itself takes under 5 minutes from the parking area and the road is very well made, so it's easy to walk even... More

This little watetfall is worth about an hour's distraction unless you pack a picnic then you could spend hours having lunch in a pristine location. There is a beautiful river that runs right buy the waterfall that everyone plays around in. The river is shallow and full of beautiful rocks and clear cold water.

Worth a quick stop as you drive over the middle of the island, free parking is limited but quickly available as the falls only take a few minutes along a paved access, no problem for sandals, falls are nothing special really but you get a feel of the rain forest as you walk in, a dip in the pool is... A lovely place to see and photograph one of the waterfalls in the National Park. It was very wet when we stopped . 10 min heavy shower, but this made it feel like the real rain forest it is.

Suitable for everybody. It's a 5 min walk from the main road. Very convenient to go with kids. As the access is easy, it's crowded, but nice to see. Nice swim

As part of the traversee rainforest route, this is a must see, but it isn't especially impressive by itself. People swim in the pool, but it seems like it would be difficult to get in and out over the boulders. There is a more accessible cascade and swimming hole past the picnic area across the road.

Because of the larger than usual parking lot and the relatively easy access to the waterfalls via paved foot path, the Cascade aux Ecrevisses can get crowded - especially when a tour bus with day-trippers from Gosier, Ste. Anne or St. Francois pulls in. But for precisely those same reasons, this is a good stop. We were traveling with my... More

It´s a good place to stop if you want to cool down. For me too busy, I prefer more private places further from the main road.
