One of the absolute best things you can do at this Royal Caribbean owned cruise stop. You board a smallish boat and are transported to a "teaching" Haitian Village and private beach. The beach is very nice and uncrowded. The village tour is a cultural...More

There are several beach areas. If you want calm waters and soft sand go around to the Columbus beach area. It is not large so go out early if this is your goal. Guys will set up chairs for you and we were lucky and...More

Nice enough day trip. Don't expect to be immersed in Haitian culture. The beach was great for the adults and kids. It was nice not having to deal with pushy vendors. Plenty of beach chairs available. The lunch provided by RC was pretty good, except...More

Arrived here with Royal Caribbean, Oasis of the seas. Given the high prices of all activities we decided to stay at the beach. The beach is nice but is kind of Rocky so it's best if one wears water shoes. We enjoyed watching those doing...More

It was a good stop from RC cruise line. There is not much beach area for swimming, mostly rocky beach. The sand is not as good as I expected, St Marteen beach has better beach area. They should add more shading for comfortable. It will...More

While on a cruise aboard Oasis of the Seas (Please avoid this ship) we visited Labadee, Haiti. We had a great time the short stay there. It was beautiful, easy for the handicapped to maneuver and relaxing. Probably would not return unless as a stop...More

Visited as part of a May 2017 Allure of the Sea cruise. A few nice, but expensive activities such as zip line and slide. Beaches are nice but having just come from St. Martin I did not enjoy them as much. The "snorkel" area is...More

We ported with Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas in May 2017 and this was our first time to Labadee. This area is RC's private section of Haiti. My daughter and friend took the kayak trip to another portion of Haiti and guides told them...More

Okay so I've been here several times now as I'm a frequent cruiser with RC. If you like the beach, then this place is amazing. If you don't like the beach then there's not really much to do without costing a small fortune. Activities: I've...More

This is a pleasant stop in which RC caters food to the island so you don't have to return to the ship to eat. Get off earlier to get prime hammocks or chairs under the many shady trees. No islanders are in sight to pressure...More

Has anyone left the RCC Labadee area to visit Cap Haitaien or other places in Haitai? If so how and where is worth going? Thanks

Labadee is a beach area purchased by RCL. It is fenced/gated and exit is not encourage or possible for guests arriving by ship unless on a RCL sponsored excursion.

For people who just like to sit on a really nice beach is Amiga a good choice or is that really for people who like to go snorkelling?

I don't know what Amiga is, but at Labadee you can do it: just sit and relax, one side of the beach is quiet so you decide if stay in or out the water. Get down the ship with your swimsuit, hat, sunscreen, and sunglass you'll... More
