Nothing much to do but this site is so important and I was so happy to have visited the northern part of Haiti. I loved what this site represents. A must see!!!!

A tremendous historic monument commemorating a powerful and remarkable moment in history. Not much to do, but a great thing to see.

Heros de Vertieres is a historic square, quite far from the centre and the surrounding area is in a really bad shape - poor, neglected, might be dangerous after dark.

A must see for tourists to this historic site. This historic victory was a victory for the enslaved of Haiti and stands as a highly significant marker on the way to a hope for reality of liberty and equal rights for all people everywhere.

It was very exciting for me to be in the location where our ancestors fought the French for our freedom I think everyone needs to see this monument I felt very proud and grateful.

This very important spot in Haitian history is not very well taken care of. If you are traveling to Cap Haitien, you can see it on the side of the road, but there is nothing to do and not much to see. There is so...More

A large bronze statue that represents the heros of the liberation of Haïti. Located on a busy road, not much to visit around. Pretty dirty.

I don’t think there is a guided tour but you could get a translator to take you and explain I just went on my one and looked
