Took a 4x4 up the hill to public parking where you can pay for your visit. We arrived too late so it was closed. Hiked up the hill towards the citadelle with a local guide. Nice little hike and it gets cooler at the top....More

The citadelle is 3,000 ft up the top of a mountain. I am not sure there is any way to avoid heights if you want to get to the top of it
