Had a great experience interacting with the Rastafarians. Their world view was informative and made a lot of sense. Their history was extremely interesting. The hosts were beyond gracious. I'd reccomend this to anyone with an open mind.

I've always felt an affinity with the Rastafari outlook on life and the world so I booked this tour with a certain amount of trepidation. My expectations were low, I guess I was expecting a kind of 'Disneyworld Rastafari' peopled by actors 'in character' for their working day. Boy.... was I wrong..... There were only 5 of us 'travellers' on... More

I come to Jamaica a lot, and are always looking for things to do that are genuine, not plastic tourist attractions, but something with history, something educational, something you can take away and remember. I had heard about the Rasta village for sometime, but had not got round to going. I am slightly embarrassed to admit I did not know... More

I knew before going that I was drawn somehow to the RASTA way of life, but after meeting, listening to, and speaking with these wonderful folks who loves ALL things; I now know why. This is a must journey. Get out of the All Inclusive hotel, away from the beaches and experience real Jamaica while learning a bit about the... More

I was searching for an organized group tour of the Rastafari Village just outside of Montego Bay during my vacation in Jamaica in Dec. 2016. Much to my disappointment, none of the numerous tour operators in Montego Bay offered such an excursion as part of their tour options. Hiring a driver and a guide independently was not feasible for me... More

We have this special experience booked via Amazing Jamaica. We were picked up at our hotel and to Rasta Indigenous Village. We became acquainted with the beautiful people and their Village! We learned a great deal about their origin and way of life! And they also learned from us! A great experience to have made for you! If we go... More

After arrival in Montego Bay we were keen to meet with those who follow the Rastafarian belief and were really pleased that we could visit this village. This was arranged through a taxi who called the village and it was agreed that we could visit that afternoon. We were dropped off beside a river and one of the Rasta Villagers... More

I went on this tour on 8/25/16. We were in a small group of 4 (I am 30, my friend is 37 and there was an older couple around 65-70 years old). I mention that because we all had a blast, regardless of age or how much you know about the Rastafari culture. I felt so connected with everything they... More
