A famous Jamaican landmark, this breathtaking picture-perfect white sand beach is a tropical slice of heaven. Lounge chairs are lined along the seashore, some grouped amongst shady random clusters of hundred year old almond and palm trees, while others are arranged closer to the waters edge. Enjoy soft reggae music and great Jamaican hospitality. A large bamboo bar offers exotic cocktails and beverages, and the seaside restaurant serves tasty local cuisine.

We had VIP package including drinks and food. They worked hard bringing everything round on trays to our lounges but probably less fussy appetizers (there were three) would have been better. Shade under trees if required. Basic bathroom/shower/changing facilities available. sea was warm and easy...More

Rest rooms for changing with showers. Gently sloping beach into the sea. Fabulous for snorkelling on the reef just 30 metres off shore.

Had Bus loads of tourists but beach is large to accommodate everyone. They were on a package with food and drink so after a while they left. Water has smooth rocks in it. Best part of the beach is to the right : sandy bottom...More

Royal Caribbean brought us to this beach as part of a tour. Its hour and half drive from Falmouth port to get here. It's a private beach with a fee to use it, but that was included in our tour. They have food but its...More

The beach itself has nothing major. It is fine but not big or clean (empty bottles and other trash were lying on the sand). We had to wait more than a half hour to get our drinks (although the beach was totally empty), which were...More

We visited this beach, as the beach facilities at our hotel were not accessible and they made arrangements for us. The beach it self is quiet, clean and the waters were the tranquil Caribbean blue that everyone expects. Drinks and food were available for purchase.

We went to Bamboo Beach through a Carnival excursion (after Dunns River Falls). It was just great! Our guide was Shamara and she was totally fantastic! She was our guide on the bus as well as server at the beach. We had 3 small plates...More

Bamboo beach has a bar and food and is relaxing in the sand, but the water itself is very rocky and you will need to wear water shoes so you dont slip or cut yourself on the rocks. The view though is phenominal and the...More

This is a nice beach BUT its manic and they have literally sold every sunbed they can to maximise income without a care in the world for the guests. Its like crushed sardines in a can. We were in the VIP part which was the...More

We visited on a weekday and were really lucky to have the beach almost to ourselves. We spent the day lounging/reading/walking and just having the most peaceful day. We enjoyed a delicious lunch before we left. Worth a visit.

They have a regular package, I believe for about $45 and a more expensive deluxe package. Do waste your money. Terrible beach, seating, and food. A few dancers rotate around. Awful, awful, awful!
