I believe this is the same Bamboo Blue beach that we visited at Mamee Bay Estates. You need to enter via the restaurant entrance; and, no outside food or drink is allowed into the area. The beach is beautiful, clean, the water shallow and relatively...More

good clean beach and very scenic. I liked the wild dancers on the sands and the jerk chicken was tasty. I also was fascinated by the anole lizards that would flare their yellow throat sack --very interesting in the trees.

The trip took over an hour but our guide, Amanda, was engaging the whole way. We were greeted with a photo and drinks. We found a nice shady spot and enjoyed what seemed like endless food and drinks (they had non alcoholic drinks for us)...More

This shore excursion was booked thru Royal Carribbean. If we had known how rocky the beach was we wouldn't have booked this one. It took over an hour by bus from our port in Falmouth. The a/c on the bus was intermittent. Marlene, our tour...More

I had a great visit to Bamboo Beach.....Denise helped us throughout the entire guide! She brought us to Dunn's river falls, and took care of us. She was a great tour guide, and was very friendly. She definitely made the trip that much better!

We went to Bamboo Beach on an excursion last year too. It seems they have imported crushed stone to top the rocky swimming area which is an improvement. The excursions all go to the same store on the way back to port and the prices...More

They have a regular package, I believe for about $45 and a more expensive deluxe package. Do waste your money. Terrible beach, seating, and food. A few dancers rotate around. Awful, awful, awful!
