This is a marvellous beach, where you can enjoy both the waves of the ocean and the tranquility of its natural basins and river. It is a great spot for families with small children, as they can approach the sea safe and in the context of a powerful and pictorial surrounding nature.

Frenchmans's Cove is absolutely beautiful! I've been coming here since I was a child and I always have a nice time. The beach is very relaxing and I love that they serve drinks and food. The water is cold but the scenery makes up for it. I highly reccomend.

Beautiful and well kept, no hassle, bliss. There is a charge of $10 or even better 2000 Jamaican. Charge is well worth paying as the beach is well kept and maybe quieter because of the charge. Pure bliss.

During my second visit to Frenchman's Cove in March 2016, I realized how unique is this small beech area. What they claim to be the shortest river in Jamaica flows to the sea from this breach, and that enhances the total experience. Over kids also loved the surrounding greenery.
