very interesting tour if you are into bats and caves....it's a cave of which it's damp and a little cool but a lot to learn...the family loved it and we also saw a snake living in the rocks..

Was good right up until I saw the snake. I ran up those steps at record speed. I know it wasn't poisonous and no one else was bothered much by it. Just my terror point.

The green grotto caves are great to experience(hard hats provided&comfy shoes recommended). The caves cover a larger area then we first thought but the walk is mostly easy(steps going down to one area is the most challenging). A guide will take you through explaining tons along the way. Take your time to look around and snap some great pictures!

Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and considerate of people's abilities etc advising of number of steps, asking it was ok to turn out the lights, if we wanted to see the sleeping boa constrictor etc. It was fascinating and pretty amazing to see this natural beauty!

My first thought of Jamaica isn't to find an area filled with natural caves but we quickly learned that the limestone rocks throughout the country were conducive to numerous cave networks This cave system is very accessible from Ocho Rios or Runaway Bay and makes an interesting excursion and change of pace. Your visit to the caves lasts 45 minutes... More

Taken via Norwegian Cruise lines. Bus trip was nice. Our assigned guide was informative yet not too talkative. The drive to the caves gave us a very honest look at that part of Jamaica. Third world. The cave center was clean and well maintained. Our guide for the cave was dramatic and fun. He was really cute with the one... More

the caves were full of bats and not handicap friendly by any means. You need to descend and ascend pretty small steps. there is bat guano all around and pretty warm below surface

It seems a bit mean only giving the Green Grotto Caves 3 stars but... compared to a lot of other caves we have visited they are not as big, dramatic or different to rate higher than that. Our guide was very good and we enjoyed our visit ... the actual green grotto was disappointing though.. it needed to be lit... More
