The 4 of us went there mid afternoon and the place was quite quiet by then so we went on the tour on our own. The tour took 45 minutes, the guide (Brian) was excellent, fun and informative. He gave a good commentary and history of the caves and Jamaica, the caves were interesting and the route well thought out.... More

Booked thru Viator for the Green Grotto tour, the meeting time was at 10:30 am at the pier, the operator TourWise Limited did not show. I call them on the phone an the cancelled the tour without any notification. Another vendor provided a similar tour at a better price.

We had a tour guide who gave us briefing about our safety and the Do's and Don'ts. A fee is charged for the visit which is American dollars. The Guide was friendly and very professional and ensured we walked the caves with caution. The cave is not far from the hotel! I have learnt so much from the guide regarding... More

Had a great time going through out the caves and learning about the history of the islands. Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, as flip flops are not the foot wear for this adventure.

Informative fun adventure 😀 Guides were friendly, fun & full of historical knowledge for the adults & entertaining for the kids. Even gave us a discount as my husband is Jamaican (even without appropriate Id) nice to see this for a change 💕

The caves have some interesting history. There was also bats and snakes that were cool to see. There are some areas where you can do some exploring. The caves are also pretty. Overall out of a scale from 1 (don't go)- 10 (must go), this is a 5. If you go its cool, if you don't you won't be missing... More

The caves are not the most amazing I have seen, but are definetely worth it. Again in Jamaica it seems everything costs 20-25 USD Dollars for entry., Its just a short 1 hour visit with a very funny tour guide. If its on your way and can do a stop, do it !

Interesting visit, learned a lot from the tour guide about the caves and Jamaica in general. The tour guide was entertaining and funny. There were bats, and it was a deep descent into the cave. A couple of parts of the caves weren't fully visible due to recent flooding, so where we were supposed to see fully clear water in... More

It was very interesting to here the history of the cave system through the generations, from slavery to a night club. The tour guide was great and friendly. They give an interactive point of view of how things were before electricity was introduced. A must do, but there is a slight hike down to sea level and back up on... More

Nice place to visit, very close by Bahia Principe. Personal couples tour was provided right after the cruise group tour ended.
