Beautiful colorful buildings, fun nightlife. I recommend going around lunch and staying through the evening so you get to see it's beauty in the daylight and at night! What a vibe!

I loved San Juan Viejo! It was a beautiful city, with a lot of history and so much to share. The city was clean, welcoming and a great place to spend 1-2 days in Puerto Rico.

We arrived at this location via cruise ship. It is an easy place to walk around and hard to get lost. My wife and I just went to a souvenir shop and got a free local map. We did not have a lot of time to walk around as we had an ATV trip booked outside of Old San Juan.

We walked up to one of the castles which was fantastic place and was full of information about how it came into existence. The streets are and buildings are very cute and a step back in time a little.

Once again DO NOT TRUST the taxi drivers. If you are physical able take a stroll instead of a taxi.

A nice place full of history.

Old San Juan is a must stop, to see the charming architecture, cobblestone streets, experience some great food, and take in the two historic forts - Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristobal - all within walking distance.

Lively, colorful, historic section of San Juan with lots of restaurants and bars to satisfy most everyone's tastes and wallets. We spent 4 hours on a culinary walking tour offered by our cruise ship and were delighted with the experience. Saw El Morro, governor's mansion, the murallas (city walls), expansive squares and small green spaces, colorful balconied homes and businesses on quaint cobblestoned streets and much much more. Sampled flavorful local cuisine in four different restaurants and had pina coladas and a tasty Sangria in two bars. Declared success after it was over!! Great tour!!

Just walking in Old San Juan is breath taking. It’s beautiful full of history and culture. Parking is insane though we found public parking for $3 the whole day I’d say grab an uber from your hotel and hear yourself for a day of just walking.

Visited Old San Juan before my cruise departed. You hear a lot of negative talk about PR in the news and I found that a lot of that was unsubstantiated. The old city was very nice and very clean and the people were incredibly nice and helpful, they helped us find a incredible restaurant. I highly recommend visiting the two forts in the city and walk along the city wall, nothing else quite like them anywhere in the USA.

This is a beautiful town, old and new merge seamlessly. The history before your eyes is amazing. You can find elders dancing near the fountain at a party the created themselves, inviting all who come by.

My wife and I spent every day of our vacation in this amazing little time capsule of Puerto Rico. There is tons of shopping (mostly the tourist type stores) and some amazing food. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the forts. The history is awesome and the views amazing.
