I was with teenagers so we could only take the historical tour. Fun informational tour. We did receive one drink with the tour.

So if you have been to a distillery tour where they are making and bottling beverages of any kind, this is NOT it. This is more of a tiny museum where there are rooms that you walk into that show you the different stages of the rum. We did it when we visited the port on a cruise. Unless you... More

The Bacardi Rum Factory was one of the highlights of the tour we went on while in San Juan. The tour starts with you receiving a souvenir glass to get a beverage of your choice (alcohol or non alcohol) then you wait for the shuttle to take you to the building for the tour. They go through the whole process... More

Bring a poncho, rain gear or umbrella in case of a sudden rain, which does happen in PR. We encountered pouring rain and had to walk from the open parking lot to a covered outdoor pavilion to purchase tickets - we chose the least expensive tour without tastings. We then waited for a tram ride to the actual facility. The... More

The ticket price at first seems to be a little high but you must consider that the price includes a cocktail at the end of the visit. We had visited this location in 1998 and today the visit has expanded with more of the family history. It is well worth the visit. Ask for Johanna at the ticket counter because... More

The tour isn't long but it does come along with a Bacardi drink so it was worth the $15 price tag. The gift shop had some nice things and they were not pricey at all.

Wish we could have seen the actual factory. This was mostly just a video and display tour. Delicious drinks included. A bit of a disappointment

A great introduction to the story of Bacardi, and also a wonderful start to a week in Puerto Rico! Be sure to arrive early (~45 mins) before the tour starts to enjoy your welcome drink from the bar! The drink is made fresh for you, and there is a nice seating area to enjoy the views of Viejo San Juan,... More
