It's a smaller museum, but there are a lot of animals on exhibit. Exhibits are broken down by biome with descriptions of each and a map is provided to help identify animals. There is a 2-part video about Puerto Rico's environment and modern conservation. Our 12-year-old daughter was very engaged and loved it.

We just visited with a group of 10 year olds Girl Scouts. It was a wonderful time, the staff was informative and very accommodating. The girls had a lovely time while learning about the different ecosystems and the animals that live in them. It is a small museum but if you take advantage of the knowledgeable staff, it can be... I think is a bit expensive for such a small place and animals to see. You can only take pictures on the first floor. There are people available to explain what you are seeing but they don't stay with you. When you go up to the second floor, it's impressive and beautiful, all the animals. But then again, not much... This place is a rip off... Avoid the $10 entrance fee. The place is really small. I guess its meant for small kids only. I think it's not worth more than $5. Most animals are made of rubber.

It covers large and some small animals from all of the continents. You can only photograph on the first floor; photography on the second floor is forbidden, yet you'll see people breaking the rule left and right. The museum lacks [although it has space on the first floor] an exhibition of native fauna.

Although it openned its doors in 2010 the museum looks and feels like it is not finished yet. In fact just now they are putting up their gift shop and snack bar. The museum was a great thought but it has not been presented well, animals are not placed in an specific order they have just been mounted in an... More

This place has a good intention but it's not well done. It looks nice, the staff was friendly and it's a large space but the information is very basic and not too informative. It is also not well organized since the animals are all kind of mixed together, not giving a good explanation about the behavior of the animals, where... More
