I suspect you can learn everything there is to know about Ponce at the Museum of the History of Ponce. Unfortunately, all of the information is in Spanish, although there is an English brochure that gives you an overview and you don't need an interpreter to enjoy many of the historic photographs. The building itself is also very interesting and... More

Displays were primarily in Spanish, but there were a few English bits and there were quite a few rooms to walk through. Free admission, open everyday (I believe). Most Ponce museums are closed on Tuesday, but this one isn't. Interesting, and worth a visit, but small children may get bored easily.

TA said this was open at 9 am. Got there at 9:45. Sign for hours of operation said 10 am to 4:30 pm. Waited until 10:30 and no one showed up to open the place. Looked nice from the outside, but we wanted to see the inside.

I really enjoy that place. I can show the history of my town to my family from USA. It's great for them and enjoy the family trip in Ponce all together.
