A tour to the rain forest will drop you off here for some pictures. Its easy to get to the top, nice to have a view of the rain forest from top. Nothing special around the area. Good to experience it once.

Yakahu Tower is perched high on a hill. If you don't want to climb the tower steps you still get a wonderful view. The Tower itself is rather cool in a distressed way--good photo op for either the structure itself or the vista beyond. As...More

I don't remember whether the tower closes at 4:00p.m. or 5:00pm, but it's worth the 360 degree panoramic view of the rainforest and even the coastline and ocean on a clear day. It's free of charge! After La Coca Falls, this should be your next...More

The views from the top of the tower are amazing! It is quite a climb if you are not in good shape. There are approximately 98 stairs to reach the top. Once at the top you can see for Miles. We were there on a...More

There are many steps to travel, but they are not steep. Once you make it to the top the view is simply breathtaking. It is worth the stop.

It's probably too late, but there is no charge to park anywhere in El Yunque. The only fee is to go to the visitors center and it's reasonable and worth a stop.
