We stayed on the Windwardside while vacationing on Saba. Walked to everything we needed, except we did take the provided transportation to and from the port to meet up with the dive boat. Everyone is friendly and you start to recognize people and cars as...More

Good restaurants, very clean, friendly people, easy to get around. The town has two markets with a surprising variety.

We wandered round for about two hours, which was plenty to shop and sight-see. The "craft guild" shop (Kakona) at Lambee's Place was really nice....a showroom for local craftsmen and artists.

All the people were super nice, the restaurants where excellent and the bars are way too much fun (especially The Tipsy Goat). This is definitely the town to stay in Saba.

The Saban villages are all very authentic and beautiful. Saba is so different from any of the the other Caribbean islands we visited!!!

The restaurant choices are close together. Very safe and pleasant to walk around. No need to worry about catching a taxi if you're staying in this area. There are no sidewalks but everyone drives safely.

The Winwardsied has great places to eat and scenery is fabulous from differenet angles. There's alot of things to visit and do from the windwardside. Most of Saba's nice hotels, restuarants and shopping is located on this side

I did a week diving with Sea Saba and had a great time. I stayed at the Cottage Club and was very happy with it. My cottage had a full kitchen, although I didn't use it. I think you'd want to stay in Windwardside, and...More
