Excellent both this special day and the really attractive cathedral with a beautifully decorated wooden roof.Wanted to visit regularly, especially on very hot days. Holds 2000 people.Located next to main feature park commemorating the two laureates of St Lucia.

The highlight of Castries is the catholic cathedral. While not old and on need of repair it certainly is didn't and very colorful inside. Have a look if you are in Castries but don't make a desperate trip.

Would like to attend mass there! Although the artwork and woodwork was intrinsic and the cathedral was massive the atmosphere was quite simple and very spiritual!

Went down to the market and probably the highlight was the church Bit shabby from the outside but beautiful on the inside Sat and just watched the locals praying for a few mins Nice park opposite to sit in and watch the world go by

I've checked on their website.Mass times are all recorded.They vary from day to day.Suggest you go in to Immaculate Conception Church in Castries. You'll enjoy the visit. Geoff
