We enjoyed the walk around this location, seeing all the plant life, and learning a bit about the history of the place.

Pros: it was very interesting learning about the different plants and their origin. The waterfall was picturesque. Cons: tour guide. Can’t swim under the waterfall.

If you like appreciating nature, this is a great tour. We visited this site as part of our overall day tour of Soufriere. This is a beautiful island with lots to see.

If you are into horticulture then this is a must do! Many varieties that I have never encountered elsewhere. All the guides are volunteers, but know what they are talking about. It is privately owned. It is definitely worth the visit.

Pretty walking paths that are easily traversed and well maintained. Cooler temps are found within all the shade. Falls are pretty and easy to photograph. Definitely worth a visit to learn about native plants of St. Lucia.

St Lucia is a botanical garden. To have this more formal one to visit is a real plus especially if you are into botany. There is also the bonus of the mineral baths and a waterfall in a very pretty setting.

The falls are about 2 hours from the cruise terminal. We rented a car and drove around, but that is risky. The safest bet would be a tour through the cruise or negotiate an all day tour with a taxi.

There is nothing strenuous about the walk. As with many of the sights, it is up to you as to how long you wish to stay. There are guides to take you around the garden to point out the various fauna that is there. There is... More
