It was very interesting to see all the flora and fauna in the park as well as the beautiful Diamond Waterfall. The history of the gardens dating to pre Napoleon days was quite interesting. Our tour did not have time for a dip in the...More

My hobby is gardening, so I wanted to see these gardens. They didn't disappoint. Very nicely designed and the backstory is lovely. Very well kept and maintained, every plant is tagged so you know what you're looking at -- all in all a lovely way...More

Most of the other reviews sum it up. This is a nice little walk through some botanical gardens back to a waterfall (which you can't swim up to). Waterfall looks just like the pictures.

Not cheap but worth visiting. Not sure you need to take a guide which is difficult to avoid, but we did. The waterfall is beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a tropical rain storm during the visit..

Lots of information was given, as part of the tour, on the vegetation. The waterfall is beautiful. The spring water is supposed to have health giving properties. There are pools that can be hired (but we didn't have time on the tour). There is a...More

Drove to the Gardens Sunday morning and they open by 10:00 am. The entry fee was only $7/person. Walked the trails and took lots of pictures of the tropical plants. Very pretty gardens and well maintained. Just past the mineral water pools ( you can...More

Very nice garden and waterfall. Pleasant place to spend an hour or so. Can get a bit crowded so time your vist wisely (early or late). Entrande fee of 6 USD is too pricey though.

The falls are about 2 hours from the cruise terminal. We rented a car and drove around, but that is risky. The safest bet would be a tour through the cruise or negotiate an all day tour with a taxi.

There is nothing strenuous about the walk. As with many of the sights, it is up to you as to how long you wish to stay. There are guides to take you around the garden to point out the various fauna that is there. There is... More
