A nice place for a stroll. We walked along the prom and down the parallel street behind it. Some interesting buildings.

Stopped here on our last cruise. People were working fervently to repair the hurricane damage, but there is much to do. Although some shopkeepers were pushy, it was no big deal. We found some treasures, spent some cash, and hopefully helped a little. They are...More

One block over front the beach is Front Street. Home to great shopping, food, a casino and a church. You can get high end jewelry to tee shirts here. A great place tostroll and see the shops and people watch.

If coming from the port, Frontstreet starts at the busiest side, with lots of 'touristic' stores with t-shirts, design clothes and also jewelers, little further down are 2 nice shopping malls, one of them is st.Rose arcade, between Frontstreet and beach!

Yes it was. You can pull up YouTube videos of the damage. But if you will request to join the Travelers Who Love St Maarten there are very resent photos and videos of the Phillipsburg area and beach. It’s looking great now
