I specifically trekked to Marigot on Wednesday because of the market as a guide book said it was reminiscent of a market in Provence, but much of the market appeared to be closed. It was a rainy non-cruise ship Wednesday. I wouldn't have gone out...More

We shopped around on a Saturday--was pretty busy. Some really cool items and some of the same ol' junk. You'll get a lot of the "this is $20, but for you--$15".....and then they say the same thing to the next person. I didn't buy much...More

The market at Marigot occurs each Saturday. There are many booths with the same clothing goods, but there are also hidden gems such as Pascales French linens.

Nice stalls with mainly touristic stuff but also fresh fish and food. It also is a good starting point for a walk into the town or to the fort.

It's on the harbor, so yes, drive along the waterfront and you will see it. Buy fish in the blue and while building, then take it out back and give the guys $2 to clean and scale it for you.
