Centrally located on Tortola's north side, this is probably the busiest beach since its beauty is often compared to Magen's Bay on St. Thomas.

So sad I would come there more if the government or local businesses would put a little effort into their dock, almost as embarrassing as the dock in Great Harbour, JVD. Hit and miss on restarants, love the smell of sewage comming onto the beach,...More

We had a wonderful dinner but it was one of the most touristy spots on the island, which we weren't looking for. However, the bay is gorgeous and our kids had fun snorkeling and SUP'ing

We enjoyed both days we spent at Cane Garden Bay. The first day, cruise ship was in so a lot of people from the ship were there. Made it a bit crowded so check the cruise ship schedule before you go. 2nd day there was...More

This world famous beach has well earned it's reputation. The water is crystal clear, there's beach and water sport activities for everyone. Lots of choices for food and drinks right on the beach. A wonderful choice to visit or stay.

All the b aches we have encountered on Tortola are beautiful. The water is crystal clear and warm. The only difference we found was that some had more surf than others. Cane Bay is a calmer beach, great for swimming and other water sports.

Cane Garden Bay is a must stop for everyone sailing the BVIs. We all have heard Jimmy Buffett and others sing about this beautiful bay. Wonderful beach bars dot the shore and you can even visit the rustic old Callwood Rum Distillery a block off...More

Stopped for a quick visit but didn't love it. Loud music was playing and the whole place had a run-down spring break-esque vibe to it with a bunch of dive bars. Not our thing - much preferred other beaches on he island.

If you are looking for a beach with many restaurant and drink options then this is the beach for you. It is a little more noisy due to the abundance of bars along the shore but is a great spot. I recommend going to paradise...More

beautiful beach, rustic restaurants and low key bars/music. You can swim in from boat moorings, walk from restaurant to restaurant or just relax on the quiet beach

If you are going to tie up for the night do it here. Calm and sheltered bay provides nice clear water to dive off the back of your boat or take a dingy to shore for some bar hopping.

I tead some reviews from the early 2000's that said it was not safe to swin at Cane Bay because of refuse in the water. Has this situation been corrected?

Hi! How much was the taxi to the beach and how did you get back to the ship? My husband is on portable oxygen and can't walk far distances, is this a good day trip for us? We love going to the beach but need to have chairs and an umbrella. Is this available here? Thanks for your help!

Yes except during low season as during low season the rental is only opened when the cruise comes in.
