Only one beach bar and restaurant, but lots of space on the lovely sandy beach and some of the best snorkelling on Tortola down the left hand shore. The lack of facilities seems to keep the crowds away and certainly the cruise ship crowds never make it there.

We spent a hot sunny day at the beach, $8 per person each way in a taxi from the port. A picture perfect location, my daughter (aged 11) spent all day in the water, the waves were fun and we also managed to hire a kayak for 1/2 an hour (only $20). We had some fun watching some newlyweds having... More

This nice Caribbean beach has golden sand, clear blue water, and a picturesque row of palm trees backing it. It's a bit quieter than nearby Cane Garden Bay. There was plenty of room when I visited. The snorkelling here is reasonable, especially around the rocks at the left of the bay. Just go carefully with the sea urchins - be... More

This beach was our go to for relaxation. With only 1 beach bar and an expanse of palm lined sand this is the place to chill and snorkel. Crowds at boat time were like 200 on a half mile beach, so not bad at all and easy to find spots away from others. Not a huge selection at the food... More

When we stayed on our honeymoon in Tortola we took a cab to the brewers bay as we heared that its great for snorkeling, and we were not disappointed, great corals and fish near the beach. also if you take a walk down the road you will find remains of an old distillery.

We decided to go to Brewers Bay based on other great reviews. What a disappointment. We thought it would be $8 by taxi to get there but the taxi stand operator said it was $12. Since it was the Christmas holidays, I agreed to the $12 PER PERSON thinking it was a round trip fare. Not so. When our cab... More

Stopped at Tortola for the day whilst cruising around the Caribbean, we asked the taxi driver to take us to a nice beach were we could snorkel and relax so he took us to brewers bay! I'm so glad he did as we was descending down the mountain towards the bay the beach and the sea looked like a slice... More

We lived on the beach for two weeks and rarely saw more than three or four people on the beach the whole time we were there. You can snorkel out into the middle of the bay safely. Gobs and gobs of coral and fish.

This beach was almost deserted when we visited. The water was crystal clear and warm but don't expect white sand here. What you'll get here is the beautiful views of the bay and the amazing flora and fauna surrounding the beach. There's a small pub/restaurant that serve basic food and drinks and you can rent beach chairs and paddle boards... More

We visited in early November, on a Saturday and had the entire beach to ourselves! I don't know where everyone else was, but they were missing out! There is a small bar/restaurant at one end of the beach with great rum drinks and basic pub food. The water is crystal clear as you walk out into it, it's all sand...no... More
