A lovely beach sweeping for half a mile, which provides a great place to swim, snorkel, sunbathe or just relax and watch the pelicans dive for fish.

Had some island neighbors tell us about this place and we had to go! Took our boat over to the bay and found out we couldn't moor or even anchor due to the wind. We took a rental car over to it and had THE...More

By far, the very best beach we visited. Pristine clear water. In July, there was no surfing, just calm and beautiful water with pinkish sand. The little bar there was great. Paula behind the bar was amazing and friendly and kept the Presidentes coming in...More

We visited here almost every day...The beach was beautiful with shells and sea glass to be found. The only beach we found shells at. It has great waves for surfing but yet gentle enough for snorkeling right off the beach.

We found Josiah's Bay sort of by accident. We had a relatively short stay with a Norwegian cruise. We asked I cab driver where we could go to find the biggest waves, and he said Josiah's Bay. It was one of the most beautiful places...More

We were on an NCL ESCAPE cruise, and instead of signing up for one of their offered excursions, we opted for an adventure. A local recommended Josiah's Bay because it's off the beaten path and beautiful. When we arrived the total people on the beach...More

Incredible beach. We love to body surf and this beach lets us enjoy that. The waves are so much fun to play in. Exhausted by the end of the day. It isn't very crowded. Also the food is very good and reasonable.

This is a great beach with very few people. It has an interesting history too as it was a plantation that grew sweet potatoes on one side and sugar cane on the other. There are no more ruins from that time but it is a...More

Such a peaceful beach first thing in the morning, when no one else has arrived. We really enjoyed just watching the waves come in, and at times crash against the rocks and bring up big spray. Just gorgeous!

Beautiful, long stretch of beach on the NE end of Tortola. Easy access via paved road. Not much natural shade, but several palm-roofed palapas dotted along the beach. Great snack bar.

Great place to watch the surfers. The sea was a bit too rough for us to enjoy the water the afternoon we were there. It's a beautiful spot though, watching the waves crash against the rocks.

Sorry probably missed the time...since it is 2 weeks ago. We arrived by boat and anchored offshore in a beautiful bay with only one other catamaran anchored nearby.
