The caves themselves were interesting, although not that impressive. The tacky props took away from the experience. It would have been better to just leave the caves as is. We walked behind the stairs that lead you out (not sure if you are supposed to...More

okay so its not on the top of the list of places to visit but my kids both boys 5 and 9 thought it was pretty cool - its very cheap to go - and we always make the best of anything and always try...More

This place has potential, but it's in total disrepair. There are only chickens and iguanas left to see as well as some other birds and turtles in a dirty pool. The caves are interesting but the whole thing is self guided. It would have been...More

It may be cheap, but don't waste your time and change. It's just a roadside tourist trap. Grand Cayman is for snorkeling, swimming, relaxing, tanning & water sports. Skip the "attractions" and take a drive around the island to discover it's true beauty, not the...More

Just trust me on this one - don't bother. Whatever attractiveness it may have had in the past, this is now a simple roadside tourist trap.

The caves are under new management and are a horrible experience! The animals are neglected and malnourished, causing us to file complaints with the Cayman authorities. The caves are not well maintained and only a fraction of the actual caves are even accessible any more....More

Fun place to visit. Cool to see where pirates hid and stashed their booty. Neat to walk where the pirates actually walked.

We visited the pirate caves and we were not overly impressed. It appears that the business recently changed ownership/management. They are in the process of updating the property, but they still have a long way to go. They boast a self-guided tour that lasts 2...More
