We drove here from Seven Mile Beach and were extremely disappointed. The water was cloudy so snorkeling was not good. Food looked to be hamburgers and fries. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes. So glad to be back on Seven Mile Beach.

There really isn't too much to see or do at Rum Point. I would stop for lunch outside if it is not too far out of your way. It might be a fun place at night, but we were only there during the day.

Very neat beach area. Food was fantastic. Tours for stingrays and snorkelling were awesome with awesome tour guides.

I can't recommend Rum Point enough. The water is stunning, the people are great, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Eat at the local restaurant as they have great food. While it is a little bit of a drive from 7 mile beach (45min-1hr), it is...More

Rum Point is a great change of pace from Seven Mile Beach. With shallow waters and abundant wildlife, you could spend all day snorkeling or sitting in the shade under the palm trees. I can't give a great review of the food offered, because we...More

We went here a couple of times during our week on Grand Cayman because it was 5 minutes from where we were staying. It is fun - there are lounge chairs, hammocks, swimming, snorkeling, food and drinks. We both ate and drank there, stayed and...More

We went to Rum Point on Monday afternoon around 1:30-2:00pm. No cruise ships were in town that day, so we didn't have much in the way of crowds to deal with and the people who were there did not appear to be drunk. We were...More

I've been going to the Wreck Bar since 1974. Still great atmosphere. Prices are up there, portion sizes are down there. Its gone commercial. Think of a cruse ship port. Most of the help was nice. We had dinner at the restaurant one night ,...More

It's a long ways by road from the Marriott so I wouldn't taking a taxi or public bus. The taxi would be very expensive and the bus would take forever. Probably the best bet is to look into the water shuttle or rent a car... More

Try Andy's Car Rental or McCurley's they both will come pick you up & bring you back to the airport and have your car waiting for you at your destination. Also very reasonable.
