Hardly anything to see. Wreck is almost gone

The Kittiwake is definitely the wreck to see in Cayman. There are some others but the Balboa is not worth the trip.

The Kittiwake is definitely the wreck to see in Cayman. There are some others but the Balboa is not worth the trip.

I dived the 375' wreck of the Balboa in August 2014 as a second dive on a two-tank dive with Don Foster's diving co. This is a really wrecked wreck. You can hardly make out the bow or the stern. You will find the screw/propeller quite easily. The remains are covered with sealife, and there is a shallow reef nearby.... More
