The museum resented a comprehensive view of the history of the Caymans. It was well organized presenting both the history and natural history of the islands. I wish we had gone here first. What we learned made our whole trip more enlightening and enjoyable.

We stop in here almost every year, if only briefly to review the slideshow history and see what is on display. Very affordable. Well worth your time.

I love to travel and learn more about the places I visit. I had some extra time while walking around the shopping area in George Town and was pleased to find the National Museum. The gift shop offers a variety of items to purchase from...More

A lovely building, one of the oldest on the island. $6 entrance fee for seniors, otherwise $8. There's an interesting short film on the history of the island and some decent exhibits downstairs. Upstairs, however, it's predominantly devoted to diving and scuba, a rather specialised...More

A quaint and slightly odd collection of Cayman history, natural history and the International SCUBA Hall of Fame (?). We had little else to do, due to weather, so it passed the time... but don't know that we'll need to visit it again.

This is an old building situated right in the middle of the George Town shopping area, easily walked to from the port. The beginning of the tour, a video and the downstairs exhibits was very much what I expected and educational, the history and environment...More

We really enjoyed visiting this museum, learning about the history of the Cayman Islands, the people, and the sea that surrounds the islands. It’s definitely worth the time and money to visit.

This was our first stop on leaving our cruise ship. We always like to visit a local museum and this didn’t disappoint. You don’t need to spend too long but there is plenty to see and learn about Cayman Islands

The museum is a wonderful location to learn about the history of the area, from the time the islands were formed to the diving exploits of those who explore the nearby depths. One can tour the museum in less than an hour, or spend far...More
