The black volcanic rocks are certainly neat to see, but this place is a tourist trap. There are locals who are very pushy, carrying monkeys and putting them onto you (targeting kids) and wanting money, especially for photos. Of all the places on the islands...More

During a drive round the island, had a stop here. Good scenery, a stall selling a few bits for tourists. Worth a quick stop.

The black rocks were formed when lava from the volcano meet the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Our tour made a brief stop by here so that we could take photos. There are some vendors here that will sell a coke for $1.00 as well...More

This rocks are volcanics and is only a view to ocean and souvenirs vendors at this site. Nothing interesting about this. This was a part of an island tour stop.

There is not much here at present but it is being developed. The view are good and the volcanic black rocks are unique. There is not much to do here but look at the rocks and take photographs

Not a destination to specifically go to as you will only spend about 15 minutes there. However, if you are touring the island it is right off the main road and worth a stop. The view is like any other except the rocks are black....More

There is not much to see here outside of the black volcanic rocks in the water. If you have not seen them before it's worth a stop. Not an attraction I'd go out of my way for.

Got great views and photos of this area from the Scenic Railway tour. You don't get too close, but with a long lens you can get some great shots.
