The Circus is simply the main traffic circle in Basseterre. It's designed to mimic London.....interesting to drive by (be careful, it's busy) but that's about it.

Our tour guide told us that this was st.kitts version of piccadilly circus, sometimes there is also a digital screen going to give the feel of piccadilly circus even more. Worth the walk to see.

Photographed and moved on. In the middle of the street round about. Good place to get run down while photographing the clock tower. Be safe!

We were only able to do a quick drive by while on a tour but it was enough to tell us we need to go back and take it all in

My wife and I walked the downtown area having arrived in St. Kitts on a cruise ship (Celebrity Summit). There is a very touristy shopping area straight off the ship which leads to 'The Circus' - a roundabout / rotary in the downtown area. The...More

This is a nice clock tower in the middle of a roundabout, nice to say you saw it. The streets around it are dirty and busy so get the shot and go. Using a map this location is central to go to other sites.

A bit odd feature for a Caribbean island, but knowing its history and connection to England, it is understandable to have a feature of England. I am sure the early setters desired a bit of old England in their new home.

The Victorian clock dominates the centre of the town. The town is fairly well maintained by Caribbean standards and there are not some many street traders as in many other of the Caribbean ports, which is refreshing.

Pretty cool place for pics and has that English feel to it. Come for the photos as there is not much else around except the port
