Found the Park after walking around town for a bit, and as we heading for the Large Church. Nice big park that has quite a few unique looking trees that make good photo opportunities. It also have a large water fountain, although i was dry when we visited, but would venture to guess that it looks amazing when operating. There... More

This square symbolizes a time when we as humans thought it was okay to enslave others based on their race. That's what resonated with me. It's a minute away from Port Zante so take that walk and check it out to humble ourselves at the very least.

This once held the slave market but is now a grassy park surrounded by a white picket fence and overlooked by stone and wooden buildings. A good photo opportunity by the "big tree".

Walked around the park, we sat down and watched the world go by a relaxing time, lots of birds around.

Knowing the history of this site (the place where enslaved Africans were auctioned) is important in fully appreciating it.

This was a well kept park close to the cruise ship terminal. The Catholic cathedral is also nearby..

This is a very well kept neat colourful location with plenty of seating to sit a while and contemplate or even read a book - it's adjacent to the well crafted catholic cathedral which itself is well worth a visit. The square is worth a wander and is not too far from the capital centre.

A must see when visiting St Kitts. Have a nice lunch at Lemongrass or Ballahoo on the square. Lots of history. You'll feel like you're back in the days of the pirates!

This park is the historic plaza where slaves were auctioned. It is now a wonderful park with many old and historical buildings. Nice walk from the port.
