Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his return home from College in Nova Scotia Canada in 1980, started working at his Parents hotel, the Ocean Terrace Inn, with one of his jobs being to do tours for the hotels guests.

While growing up on St. Kitts, Greg's parents became leaders in the local Tourism Industry, starting one of the first hotels in the islands, with Greg's Dad, eventually receiving the "Order of the British Empire" (OBE), from the St. Kitts Government for his outstanding achievements in local Industry.

This has given Greg a unique grounding as well as a deep sense of understanding for his home country and coupled with his tourism training abroad, has allowed him to become one of leading and longest serving tour guides in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg and his team of certified Tour Guides have won many awards from the Tourism Authority for their businesses high standards of service.

From the very beginning Greg has used modified, 4X4 Land Rovers to do his "unique" island Safaris with. Being specially made, the 8 Land Rovers he uses today, are all open sided with mostly forward facing, stadium orientated seating, that provide his guests with the best way to experience exploring beyond the shores of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg's Safaris is the only tour company in the Federation that uses 4X4 Land Rovers for touring on both islands!

For your private, half days hiking pleasure, Greg has created two "unique looped hiking trails", one at the Phillips Mountain Valley (2 miles long), and at the other at the Wingfield River Valley (2 1/2 miles long), on St. Kitts. His company is also the only one on St. Kitts to offer driving tours from coast to coast through the lushly forested interior and while traveling through the mountains his guests would have access to a private 5 acre "mountain top property", perched1000 feet sea level, a place of cool temperatures and breathtaking views, that can only be experienced on a "one of kind" 4X4 Safari Tour with him and his guides.

Greg is one of the founding members of the St. Christopher National Trust and as well, sits on the Central Forest Reserve National Park Committee. He is also a Life Member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Brimstone Hill National Park and is also part owner of Sky Safaris, a company he started in 2009.

We booked this tour through our cruise ship (Royal Caribbean). It was titled 4x4 Island Safari and Beach. We really enjoyed it. As others haven mentioned, you ride in an open air jeep on the back roads through the island. It really is fun and you get to see some beautiful rain forest and monkeys if you are lucky! The... The "Off the Beaten Path" tour was fantastic! Greg was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his island. We enjoyed everything about this tour from the rainforest to the beach and the amazing views. Greg was organized, picked us up on time and extremely pleasant. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We booked our Safari through Royal Caribbean as a shore excursions. The guide was great. My teenagers enjoyed the safari. The Land Rovers were clean and in great condition. The beach at the end was amazing. Soft sand and no rocks. We would definately choose Greg's again.

We just loved our day with Greg's Safaris! Comfy open air vehicles allow a perfect view of the island. The local snacks and rum punch are delicious. We only wish we could have enjoyed a bit longer. Highly recommend!

Open air "safari trucks" take you from the Port, through the downtown area and up into the Rain Forests in the hills of this beautiful island. We were so fortunate to be in Greg's "bus". He is so knowledgeable about the island and her peoples. His passion shows as he stops and gets out to show you something in his... More

We stopped at St Kitts for a day while on a cruise. We booked directly through the website rather than cruise line and saved a few dollars and not sure if just a coincidence but ended up getting a private tour just our family of 4 which was so nice. Joseph was our wonderful guide. Not much to do within... More

Our family of 6 loved this excursion of the island. We booked on our own and not through the cruise ship (less expensive that way!). Greg met us exactly where he said he would be and we boarded our Land Rover. These vehicles seat about 12 and it's a fun ride. Our guide had a strong accent and it was... More

This was a good tour although we thought it a bit expensive. We did 3 tours 1 on St lucia, 1 on St Kitts and 1 on STMaarten. The other two were much better value. I dont know if we would book again.

Cruising the Carribean is fun, but be sure to add Greg's Safari to your trip. Even in our 70's we had a great time.
