beautiful scenery.. The water is nice but be sure to talk to the lifeguards before going in because at times of the year there is alot of man o'war jellyfish in the waters. At times there is a lot of seaweed in the water and shores but when I went there wasn't any, it was clear and fantastic.

The Manzanilla stretch is picturesque year round and the drive from POS is long but worth it when you arrive. The beach's washroom facilities are functional but when I visited it looked like part of the facility was still under construction (hopefully they were creating stalls for vendors). The boardwalk was a great idea as you can walk along the... More

It's a nice beach if you can find a spot on the beach that isn't covered with seaweed, or if you make it to the water you may have to worry about jellyfish, but if you just coming to the beach to lime with friends and family it's a beautiful beach to lime

Expect troublesome currents in the area plus the annual beaching of those nasty jellyfish. The water is rough at times but an enjoyable bath is possible. Safety in numbers for this part of the island! Until the road is properly fixed, avoid until proper access restored.

Manzanilla beach is an excellent beach. Its a place to relax and have lots of fun. It have a convenient car park plus life guard booths. The beach most of the time is calm but if not a life guard comes and mark of the place. The beach itself is wonderful, an excellent, most spectacular scenary. Manzanilla which I always... More

This beach is on the Atlantic side of the island. Because of this it is not as nice as those in the Caribbean sea. There are nice little hotels along the beach. The village is nice. There are a few nice eating place a few restaurants and a nice market, if you rent a beach house. Oh they sell lobster,... More

I live about 15 minutes away from this beach and its one of the easiest beaches to go to..so we go often... enough. The water itself is a bit rough but otherwise it is nice most times except when the weather is terribly rainy and the water looks filthy. The beach itself is lovely especially if you have kids who...
